The Jazz look like one of the best teams in the NBA again this season. They play team basketball on both ends of the court, and really don't give their opponents anything. They take care of the basketball, play sound defense and make shots at an extremely high level. Quin Snyder remains one of the top coaches in the NBA, and he has the Jazz rolling right out of the gate in 2021-22. The Jazz have the second best net rating in the NBA, ranking third in defense and fourth in offense so far this season. Utah could be in a great position to cover and win on Thursday, as they are slim favorites over a Hawks team that played last night and could look to rest some key players.
Why The Hawks Can Cover The Spread
The Hawks are 3-0 at home this season, but facing the Jazz on the second night of a back-to-back will be by far their toughest test in State Farm Arena so far this season. John Collins was questionable with a foot sprain before playing big minutes Wednesday vs. the Nets, so he could be a candidate to get some rest on Thursday vs. Utah.
