Why The Mavericks Can Cover The Spread
Luka Doncic is questionable for the Mavericks, and his availability will impact the odds in this game one way or the other. Overall this season, the Mavericks have a slightly negative net rating, and they are 0-3 without Doncic. With Doncic, they are 9-4 this season. Dallas does not have good enough guards or shot creators to generate consistent offense with Doncic out of the lineup, so it will be tough for them to get a win vs. a staunch Clippers defense if their star is unable to go.
