Why The Thunder Could Cover The Spread
Oklahoma City has been scrappy this season despite being one of the worst teams in the NBA. The Thunder have several single-digit losses this season, including four in their last seven total losses. This is exactly the type of spread the Thunder cover. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Josh Giddey have made for a slippery backcourt for opponents to check this season, and look like potentially one of the more promising backcourts of the future. OKC is just 3-7 in their last ten games however as they are one of the most inexperienced teams in the entire NBA. The cover is definitely in reach vs. a struggling Wizards team, and the money line might also be a nice flier if anyone is feeling lucky.
