The Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns play in a Western Conference matchup on Tuesday. It's time to continue our NBA odds series and make a Warriors-Suns prediction and pick.

The Warriors and Suns will battle on Tuesday night as the clear best two teams in the NBA to this point in the season. Golden State sits at 18-2, riding a seven-game win streak, while the Suns are 17-3 riding a 16-game win streak. Someone has to lose tonight, unfortunately. Stephen Curry has the Warriors looking primed for a run at another championship, while Chris Paul and Devin Booker look determined to get back to the NBA Finals again this season. The Suns sit as slight favorites over the Warriors at home for this Tuesday showdown.

Why The Warriors Can Cover The Spread

The Warriors are absolutely rolling, as they have won nine of their last ten games. Stephen Curry and Draymond Green have the entire roster rolling, as they look like the team to beat once again out west. Klay Thompson and James Wiseman aren't even back yet, and they already rarely face a challenge. Tuesday should be one of those challenges though. The only team who can even claim to be on the Warriors' level right now is the Suns, who have not lost since Oct. 27. The Warriors still come into play as the better team on paper, as they have a league-best +13.6 net rating. Golden State also leads the NBA in defensive rating, allowing just 99.4 points per 100 possessions.

The Warriors are a ridiculous 15-4-1 against the spread this season, and they are 7-1 on the road outright. Golden State seems like a great bet right now any time you can catch them as the underdog.

Why The Suns Cover The Spread

Phoenix comes in on a wild 16-game win streak. If they want to make it 17, they will have to get through the best the NBA has to offer. The Suns sit third in both net rating and defensive rating, but are behind the top-ranked Warriors in each category. Chris Paul leads the NBA in assists per game with 10.1, controlling the Phoenix offense with precision like he has at various stops throughout his Hall of Fame career. Devin Booker continues to be the closer when needed, providing a potent three-level scoring punch. The Suns are a deep team that again this season has the right mix of veterans and youth. The Suns look primed to make another run towards the NBA Finals, but they might run into these Warriors again down the line if they want to do that.

Phoenix comes into play 11-9 against the spread. They are 8-2 at home, but will have their hands full when Golden State takes their floor.

Final Warriors-Suns Prediction & Pick

Take the Warriors and the points. Phoenix has to lose at some point, so why not to the team that no one else can beat. This game is going to be a huge measuring stick for each side, and will be the night cap of the TNT double-header on Tuesday. Take Curry and the Warriors to take care of business on Tuesday.

FINAL WARRIORS-SUNS PREDICTION & PICK: Warriors +2 (-108)
