Why The Wizards Could Cover The Spread
The Wizards come into this one with most of their regulars healthy and ready to go, which is a bit more than the Knicks can say at the moment. Washington snapped a four-game losing streak on Saturday when they knocked off the Utah Jazz. The Wizards have been off since after having their Tuesday night matchup with the Brooklyn Nets postponed. Bradley Beal is leading the way in terms of scoring again this season for Washington, averaging over 23 points per game on 46% shooting. The Wizards will be missing Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (health and safety protocols) and Rui Hachimura (return to competition conditioning) for this one.
Washington is just 5-13-1 vs. the spread as the road team this season, and 5-9 as a road favorite. Before covering in their game vs. Utah, the Wizards did not cover for five straight games (four on the road). Washington is 2-7-1 vs. the spread in their last ten games.

The Knicks have won two of their last three games, but those wins game over the Houston Rockets and Detroit Pistons, two of the worst teams in the NBA. This might be a tough spot for the Knicks as just slim underdogs vs. a better and healthier Wizards team.
