While the action was hot and heavy in the first half during the NBA Play-In game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Clippers, there was a rather sticky situation that didn't have to do with basketball.

One woman apparently tried to superglue herself onto the basketball court right in the middle of the Play-In game. Check out the puzzling scene below:

The mark was initially thought to be graffiti of some sort but it was later revealed to be glue. No word yet on the reasoning behind the NBA Play-In game distraction, but the assumption on the broadcast was that it was done as a form of protest. The woman was eventually taken away but she did leave a visible glue mark on the court.

Glue Gate aside, the Timberwolves-Clippers Play-In game certainly lived up to the billing through the first half. The score stayed close at the break, 53-51, as both sides have gone on lengthy runs with some big-time sequences from T-Wolves' Anthony Edwards and D'Angelo Russell. Both guards finished with 15 apiece with Karl-Anthony Towns struggling with foul trouble.

Norman Powell led the way for the Clippers with 14 points while Paul George tallied nine in what was a cold-shooting half for the LAC star.
