The Drew League is one of the most entertaining parts of the NBA summer. This league has some amazing NBA players participate in it each year, and this year was no exception. New teammates JaVale McGee and Nick Young were joined by Julius Randle and DeMar DeRozan in a very entertaining game. However, the game was not as interesting as some off-court things.

The players were constantly, in good nature, heckled by spectators. People in the stands usually do not stand this close to these superstars, and they took the chance to talk some trash. However, when talking trash to NBA pro's, NBA pro's will respond the best way they can – on the court.

In a small compilation made by Ballislife YouTube channel, there are some trash-talkers targeting these NBA players. While in a real NBA game the players do not have much chance to respond, the Drew League is different.

Randle, McGee, Young and DeRozan were quick to respond, mostly by scoring buckets. However, they are used to talking trash to other NBA players on the court, so they did not refrain from answering the trash-talkers verbally as well.

That is, in effect, the point of Drew League. Of course, everything is in good nature, and the “hecklers” mean no harm, neither do the players. But, the point is to recreate the atmosphere of streetball, and to remind the players of their beginnings.
