The New York Knicks and Atlanta Hawks will battle it out in the crucial fourth game of this best-of-seven series. It’s time to continue our NBA odds series and make a Knicks-Hawks prediction and pick.

Atlanta defeated the Knicks in Game 3 on Friday and will now look to take a commanding 3-1 series lead with a win in Game 4. The Hawks played with a ton of energy on the defensive end behind a full State Farm Arena. The Knicks will need to find a way to get Julius Randle going and put more points on the board in this Sunday matinee.

Here’s how sportsbooks have set the Knicks-Hawks odds.

NBA Odds: Knicks-Hawks Odds

New York Knicks +5 (-106)

Atlanta Hawks -5 (-114)

Over 209 Points (-115)

Under 209 Points (-105)

Why The Knicks Could Cover The Spread

The Knicks have their backs against the wall and will need to make some major adjustments in the fourth game of this series. New York has an opportunity to regain control of this series with a win in Game 4, but they need to focus on making consistent improvements for 48 minutes. Julius Randle has been going through his worst shooting slump of the season over the first three games of this series and needs to find a way to get into a rhythm. Randle shot a horrible 2-15 in Game 3 and still managed to register a double-double with 14 points and 11 boards.

The 2021 Most Improved Player is shooting just 24% through the first three games. With a lack of offensive weapons around him, it'll be up to Randle to find higher percentage looks in the paint. Derrick Rose has been the only true scoring option for the Knicks, which is why he was inserted into the starting lineup for Game 3. Rose dropped 30 points on 13-21 shooting in a productive and efficient performance. New York is typically efficient from beyond the arc and will need to find that stroke to beat this Hawks defense. They were the third-best 3-point shooting club in the league this season.

Why The Hawks Could Cover The Spread

The Hawks have clearly been the better team through the first three games of this series and will look to replicate their Game 3 performance. Trae Young has shown why he is the best player in this series and why he is quickly becoming one of the best guards in the league. At just 22 years old, Young looks like he is well beyond his years. Trae put together another solid performance in Game 3 with 21 points and 14 assists. New York has made some defensive adjustments, but the Hawks guard countered with a plethora of dimes and floaters.

John Collins and Clint Capela have done a solid job of playing sidekick as well. Collins bounced back with 14 points, while Capela registered a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds. The Hawks had seven players in double figures in Game 3 as they shot the lights out from the perimeter. Atlanta hit 16 triples and shot 59% from beyond the arc. Danilo Gallinari led the way with four made treys. If they can come even remotely close to that level of production from deep, the Hawks should see themselves sitting at 3-1 heading back to New York.

Final Knicks-Hawks Prediction & Pick

I have to believe that the Knicks will find a way to make adjustments and score the ball more efficiently in Game 4. They have played so well throughout this season and have found ways to win games in a variety of fashions. Atlanta is shooting very well and has shown no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Trae Young is unguardable right now and has shown a willingness to be unselfish and share the wealth as well. I see the Knicks getting back to their shooting ways and knocking down more long balls in Game 4.

FINAL PICK: Over 209 Points (-115)
