Fans and players will now be seeing five new officials at games this season. Five officials from the NBA G League have been promoted to full-time staff officials.

Congratulations to all five of them. Hard work and determination are paying off, with dreams coming true.

Here is some information on the five new referees:

Mousa Dagher is in his third season with the league. He has six years officiating collegiate games. He will be wearing #57.

Ashley Moyer-Glech is in her third season as an NBA G League ref. She has four years of collegiate experience and she officiated her first NBA regular season game October 22. She will be wearing #75.

Trying to make it as a referee is a lot of work. These officials that have been promoted to full-time. The NBA G League for officials is like the same thing for the players and coaches involved.

You are trying to get recognized, and hopefully you get the opportunity of getting called up, or promoted full-time.

They were some of the very best officials the G League had to offer and they will be missed a lot.

With the referees already officiating their first NBA game, they know how to deal with the players and coaches in the next level.

This probably will also not be the only time we will see the league making changes to their referees. The NBA could easily see more promotions from G League being promoted to full time.
