The Milwaukee Bucks are apparently not the only ones awaiting Giannis Antetokounmpo's decision regarding his impending supermax extension.

Brian Windhorst of ESPN suggested during a recent radio appearance that both Anthony Davis and Bam Adebayo could be waiting for The Greek Freak to make a decision before determining their respective contracts.

Windhorst also noted, with respect to Adebayo, the Miami Heat would still have maximum salary cap space if the All-Star big man waited to sign an extension:

“I think there are two star players waiting to sign to see what Giannis does,” Windhorst said, via RealGM. “That's Anthony Davis. He's coming back to the Lakers, but he may change the alteration of his contract, the way it's structured, to give the Lakers a window, if not for Giannis but for somebody in a one-plus-one. Because that's what LeBron is now on.

“And Bam Adebayo. If Bam Adebayo signs a max contract, the Heat will not have the room. But if he waits a year, than they will.”

Perhaps Anthony Davis and Bam Adebayo are interested in seeing how Giannis Antetokounmpo will proceed. It makes more sense in Adebayo's case.

The 23-year-old is eligible for a rookie extension this year, and he could cash out after recent extensions handed to young stars like Donovan Mitchell and Jayson Tatum. However, waiting on a payday might help the Heat net Giannis next summer, if he refuses to sign the supermax.

Davis is probably more concerned with his own destiny in Los Angeles. The Brow has been waiting to see what the Lakers' roster looks like before setting the parameters on the length of his contact. A one-and-one still seems likely, considering — as Windhorst mentioned — LeBron also has a player option for next season.

Windy also kind of teases the possibility of Giannis going to the Lakers, but that feels unlikely.

Either way, it is certainly possible Giannis Antetokounmpo's decision will have a domino effect. He has until Dec. 21 to make a decision.
