You always have to possess a certain confidence, and you can bet your mortgage that Brandon Jennings isn’t short on that supply.

The eight-year NBA veteran, who's currently out of the league and just had a quick stint in the Chinese Basketball Association, recently had a quick chat with TMZ. Watch out for his short and self-assured response when asked about making an NBA comeback:

“Of course. I could play ‘till I’m 35… I’m 28. I’m good. Feeling good.”

Like most NBA vets prior to him, Jennings killed it in China, as he averaged 27.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, 6.8 assists, and 2.7 steals per game in 13 contests. Considering those stats and his young age, it’s not far-fetched to think that he can make a return to basketball’s big leagues soon.

The quick first step and ability to get to the rim is still there, and though he owns a reputation for being a wildcard on shot selection, he is still that classic streaky shooter that can heat up anytime.

Of course, this is not about being too high on Brandon Jennings. All are aware that there’s a reason why if he didn’t attract many teams in the off-season. All are also aware that if ever gets to suit up for another NBA squad – whether it’s elite, mid-tier, or bottom-feeder, he is more than likely to have a back-up role, maybe even a third-stringer.

Jennings has career averages of 14.3 points, 5.7 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.7 made threes per game, and has been in the second unit in his last two seasons.
