LiAngelo Ball was not taken in the 2018 NBA Draft despite his best efforts, but his dreams of professional basketball are far from over. According to Nicola Lupo of Sportando, LiAngelo and his brother LaMelo are receiving interest from the Russian team, Khimki Moscow.

Khimki Moscow has two different teams. The top team plays in the EuroLeague and VTB League while the lower tier team plays in the Russian national league. Either team would be a step up from where the Ball brothers played their basketball last season

This would not be the first time the Ball brothers played overseas. The two famously signed with the Lithuanian squad, BC Vytautas.

19-year-old LiAngelo entered the 2018 NBA Draft and despite his—and his father's—best efforts, he was not selected by any team. This came as a blow to the Ball family after LaVar Ball famously stated that all three of his sons would eventually play together on the Los Angeles Lakers.

Lonzo Ball is currently playing for the Los Angeles Lakers, but there is little hope that LiAngelo will ever make it onto the court with his brother. He has yet to receive any NBA Summer League offers which likely signals minimal interest around the league.

On the other hand, LaMelo's NBA future is still very much in play. The 16-year-old was pulled out of high school by his father in order to start his professional career early. He's still very young, but he seems to be closer in talent to Lonzo than LiAngelo. The brothers' professional future is uncertain at this moment, but they could be playing in Russia sooner or later.
