This would, obviously, take the Boston Celtics off the Aaron Gordon trade market. Then again, progressing on a trade is vastly different than actually making one happen. Where there's smoke, though, there's usually fire.

With the NBA trade deadline set to die a glorious death at three o'clock on the east coast, teams like the Nuggets and the Magic will continue to scour the earth for players, deals and draft picks.
As it stands now, it does look like the Nuggets are the favorites to land the Magic big man as the NBA trade deadline inches closer to its demise.
Nevertheless, we're likely to get that sweet Aaron Gordon trade before the NBA trade deadline is up, likely leaving a basketball loving planet breathless and without time to fully comprehend what it could mean for either team in the long term. Both Magic and Nuggets fans are holding their collective breath right now.
