The Los Angeles Lakers are reportedly not aggressively shopping forward Kyle Kuzma, according to Ric Bucher of Bleacher Report.

Kuzma's status with the Lakers has been in question ever since his trainer called out Lakers superstar LeBron James:

A source familiar with the team's thinking disputes that the Lakers are aggressively shopping Kyle Kuzma after he appeared to co-sign disparaging remarks made by his personal trainer about LeBron James.

This season marks the first time Kuzma is playing on a Lakers team with championship aspirations. The talented forward is learning what it takes to contribute to winning besides scoring.

The Lakers are 36-11 on the season in their first year with the Anthony Davis-LeBron pairing. They still have the best record in the Western Conference despite losing to the Portland Trail Blazers at home on Friday.

Kuzma is averaging 13.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 38 games this season. He’s shooting 43.2 percent from the field, 33.1 percent from beyond the arc and 74.2 percent from the free-throw line.

The NBA trade deadline is on Feb. 6. It's unknown if the Lakers are going to make a trade to bolster their roster.
