Though they could probably get a fair offer for his services, the Indiana Pacers have shown little interest in moving Aaron Holiday ahead of this season's trade deadline, according to a report from ESPN's Zach Lowe.

With Victor Oladipo returning from his year-long absence due to injury, Holiday is now seeing less playing time. He's a talented player, and Lowe thinks the Pacers could get a first round pick for his services. For now, though, it sounds like the team is interested in keeping him aboard.

Pacers head coach Nate McMillan recently commented on Holiday's decreased role with the team, noting that he'll need to “be patient:”

“[He has to] be patient, be patient,” McMillan said of Holiday’s evolving role moving forward with the Pacers, via IndyStar. “You just can’t play all those guys. I’ve talked to Aaron. There’s going to be nights where T.J. [McConnell] doesn’t play and Aaron does play if we like that matchup. He has to be patient. But these two point guards [McConnell and Holiday], we just can’t play both of them.”

In 45 appearances with the Pacers this season (18 starts), Holiday has racked up averages of 10.4 points on 42.4 percent shooting from the field (42.5 percent from beyond the arc), 3.5 assists and 2.3 rebounds in 23.4 minutes per outing.

The Pacers will be back in action on Monday night, when they'll serve as hosts to the Dallas Mavericks. Tip-off inside Bankers Life Fieldhouse is set for 7:00 p.m. ET. Indiana will be looking to get back on the right track after suffering an ugly loss to the New York Knicks over the weekend.
