The NBA trade deadline is less than a month away and rival executives expect the Indiana Pacers to be active.

According to Eric Pincus of Bleacher Report, the Pacers could look to trade Aaron Holiday or TJ McConnell:

With Victor Oladipo ready to make a return near the end of the month and Malcolm Brogdon one of the offseason's greatest acquisitions, more than one competing executive believes the Indiana Pacers will put one of their two backup point guards on the market: TJ McConnell or Aaron Holiday.

The Pacers are 23-15 on the season. They are in sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings.

Pacers All-Star shooting guard Victor Oladipo will make his season debut at the end of January against the Chicago Bulls. Indiana fans, and NBA fans at large, are certainly looking forward to seeing Malcolm Brogdon and Oladipo share the backcourt together. Brogdon, when healthy, has been carrying the Pacers on offense sans Oladipo. His job will get a lot easier once Oladipo is back and playing like the All-Star he is and hopefully the duo can stay on the court and help Indiana make a run.

Oladipo averaged 18.8 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.2 assists for the Pacers last season before he got hurt. The All-Star shot 42.3 percent from the field, 34.3 percent from beyond the arc and 73.0 percent from the free-throw line. Once Oladipo comes back and gets his legs underneath him, Indiana figures to be even more lethal on offense.
