Teams such as the Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics have Cleveland Cavaliers forward Larry Nance Jr as a target to pursue in the near future, according to Chris Fedor. In fact, the Minnesota Timberwolves, Miami Heat, New Orleans Pelicans, and Dallas Mavericks have all shown an interest in Nance Jr.

It is not a surprise that the Cavaliers have received calls about Larry Nance Jr, as Fedor characterized him as a man of many abilities:

“He’s the kind of versatile piece that contenders covet because of his defense, playmaking, shooting and impact on winning.”

Averaging 9.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 3.2 assists in the 19 games he has played this season, he has the ability to help many teams on both sides of the ball. The Cavs would have to be offered a tempting deal in order for them to even think about letting go of him, according to Fedor.

However, Larry Nance Jr has been out due to a fractured left hand and is set to return in the next week. How much his playing time will be affected and how the Cavaliers may use other big men may factor into Nance Jr's decision about potentially joining another team.

Though he has averaged 33.4 minutes a game, proving how valuable the Cavs see Nance Jr, anything can change in the coming weeks if an enticing deal lands in Cleveland's hands.
