Kyle Lowry has emerged as one of the biggest names in the trade market of late. The Toronto Raptors guard could be on the move in the coming days, and the Philadelphia 76ers appear to be extremely interested in landing the services of the six-time All-Star.

According to reports, the Sixers are now willing to offer rookie Tyrese Maxey in a potential Lowry deal. This report comes via Michael Scotto of HoopsHype:

The 76ers remain interested in acquiring Raptors guard Kyle Lowry, and rookie guard Tyrese Maxey is among the assets available as part of a trade package, league sources told HoopsHype.

To be clear, the Sixers are reportedly willing to include Maxey in a trade package, which means that potentially, the Raptors are going to be getting more than just the 20-year-old rookie in exchange for Lowry. The 6-foot-2 shooting guard out of Kentucky is no Rookie of the Year, but Maxey has shown enough potential to be considered as a future stud in the NBA. The Raptors could do far worse than Maxey.

For his part, Lowry has already said previously that he wants to remain in Toronto. Apparently, this strong statement has fallen on deaf ears, as opposing teams continue to pursue the veteran point guard.

The Sixers have competition for Lowry, though, with the Heat being named as another frontrunner to land the 34-year-old. Lowry is close with Miami star Jimmy Butler, and reports state that this could also be a key factor as to where the former ends up landing come the trade deadline.
