Boston Celtics guard Dennis Schroder could be moved at the NBA Trade Deadline, with the Milwaukee Bucks reportedly interested. The defending champions have been discussing a deal with the C's involving Donte DiVincenzo, per Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, but there has been one roadblock is the possible idea of a swap. Celtics big man Grant Williams.

Per Keith Smith:

I'm told that reports Boston and Milwaukee have talked a Dennis Schroder-Donte DiVincenzo swap are accurate. What has killed a deal thus far is the Bucks want the Celtics to include Grant Williams in the deal and Boston is unwilling to part with their backup big man.

The straight swap for the two guards makes sense, but giving up Williams doesn't seem logical for the Celtics. He's an important piece off the bench, averaging 7.3 points and 3.3 rebounds on 43% shooting from three-point range. That production isn't something they're willing to part ways with.

It's unlikely the team changes their stance, but DiVincenzo would be a nice fit in Beantown. While he's missed most of the year due to injury, he can shoot the three-ball well and give the Celtics reliable second unit minutes. His 28% clip from downtown doesn't exactly say efficient, but again, the guard has only played 16 games this season for the Bucks.

As for Schroder, he'd probably resort to a sixth man role in Milwaukee if a trade happened. The German is averaging 14.4 points, 4.3 assists, and 3.3 rebounds in 2021/22.
