Golden State Warriors combo guard Alec Burks is drawing interest from several teams with the NBA's Feb. 6 trade deadline looming, according to Monty Poole of NBC Sports Bay Area.

The general belief is the Warriors will make at least one move and maybe two before the trade deadline, one of which may involve Burks:

Several teams in recent weeks have expressed interest in Alec Burks, according to league sources, and some have gone so far to scout him. That’s not likely to change. There is demand for veteran, low-maintenance wings unbothered by circumstances and capable of creating offense for both themselves and teammates.

The Warriors, for obvious reasons, continue to be very much involved in trade buzz around the league. The general belief is they’ll make at least one move and maybe two before the noon deadline on Feb. 6.

Burks has appeared in 42 games this season for the Warriors. He's averaging 16.2 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.2 assists while shooting 40.7 percent from the field, 35.6 percent from beyond the arc and 90.3 percent from the free-throw line.

There should be plenty of interest in Burks, which can lead to a robust market that could result in Golden State getting a significant asset for him. Burks is also easy to trade because he's making the NBA's minimum salary of $2.3 million.

The Warriors will miss the NBA Playoffs this season for the first time in the Steve Kerr era, with Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson out for the foreseeable future. The franchise might as well see what Burks and other players on the roster can fetch them on the trade market.
