New Orleans Pelicans fans may have been spitting on the path Anthony Davis walked on ever since returning to the Big Easy, but that doesn't mean that Jrue Holiday and the rest of his former teammates are also sharing their sentiments.

After a rather close battle (the Lakers edged the Pelicans, 114-110), the former one-two punch of the Pelicans shared a nice moment. They walked right up to each other, embraced, had a bit of small talk, and immediately traded jerseys.

There's no question that there will be plenty of salty Pelicans fans angrily writing frustrated messages from their phones. They'll be wondering why Jrue even did what he did. However, these same fans have to remember that these two spent a lot of time trying to get the Pelicans in contention. There's a bond that no basketball allegiances can easily destroy.

Davis had a solid outing in his first game back at the Smoothie King Center. He finished with a monstrous 41 points, nine rebounds, one assist, three steals, and a block. Holiday also did a fine job in leading the Pelicans with his 29 points, six rebounds, 12 assists, and three steals.
