Hall of Famer and Auburn alumnus Charles Barkley experienced quite the roller-coaster ride of emotions in the Auburn-Virginia Final Four showdown on Saturday night.

Barkley's friends from NBA on TNT compiled a video of his ever-changing reactions throughout the contest, and it was great:

Unfortunately for Barkley, the final emotion he felt on the night was agony. The Auburn Tigers lost their chance to advance to the National Championship Game in heartbreaking fashion.

Auburn looked to be on its way to knocking off the Virginia Cavaliers and making the last dance of the NCAA Tournament. The Tigers had a two-point lead with 1.5 seconds to play. All they needed was one defensive stop.

However, a foul call on a 3-point attempt by Virginia guard Kyle Guy changed their fortunes. Guy sank the three nerve-wracking free throws as Virginia secured its ticket to the title game.

It was an unfortunate turn of events for the Tigers, as they had the momentum on their side in the closing moments of the game. They were able to mount a furious comeback after falling behind by 10 points with a little over five minutes remaining.

However, Virginia didn't go away quietly, answering Auburn's 14-0 run with a 6-1 run of its own to close the game and secure a spot in the final.

It was definitely a heartbreaking defeat for the Tigers, who looked to make their first appearance in the championship game.

After the game, Charles Barkley expressed his griefĀ about the loss, but acknowledged that the referees made the right call. He also gave credit to Guy for making those three clutch free throws.
