The NBA world received good news on Thursday, with retired guard Delonte West appearing to be in good spirits on his road to recovery.

The former guard was seen getting up some shots in the gym:

Delonte West was admitted to a rehabilitation center in October. The Washington, D.C. native had been seen on the streets panhandling, and it didn't take long for fans familiar with West to recognize him. After multiple attempts by figures such as Doc Rivers and LeBron James were made to get West back on his feet, it was Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban who was able to achieve the goal.

Cuban has offered updates to both West's family and the public on West and his well-being. The latest clip showing him back in the gym should do the NBA world a great bit of justice as West attempts a comeback at living a healthier life.

Prayers up to Delonte West as he continues on this journey.
