Looks like Utah Jazz shooting guard Donovan Mitchell ghosted his friend, New Orleans Pelicans guard Josh Hart, recently after Hart congratulated Mitchell on making his first NBA All-Star team this year.

Hart told the story on his latest live stream with Mitchell:

Basketball fans are aware that Hart sometimes has trouble getting his teammates to high five him back. Now, it appears the NBA's walking meme can't even get a text back from his good friend Mitchell.

However, since the NBA is in a hiatus right now due to COVID-19, Mitchell will have more time to get back to Hart moving forward.

Before the NBA suspended the 2019-20 season, Mitchell and the Jazz were in fourth place in the Western Conference standings with a record of 41-23. Mitchell was averaging 24.2 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists before the NBA had to suspend play following Rudy Gobert's positive COVID-19 test.

For the Pelicans, Hart was putting up 10.2 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists in his first season in New Orleans. The 25-year-old, who began his NBA career with the Los Angeles Lakers, was shooting 41.6 percent from the floor, 34.2 percent from the 3-point line and 74.7 percent from the charity stripe for the Pelicans prior to play being suspended.

NBA owners are hoping to resume the season in the summer if the COVID-19 pandemic dies down.
