Dennis Smith Jr. of the New York Knicks and Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks tried to impersonate each other in a workout.

Per Ballislife, peep Smith and Young's impersonation of one another. The Knicks point guard tried to imitate Young's high-arching shot and celebration. Young, meanwhile, tried to emulate Smith's size-up dribble before attacking the rim for an explosive dunk.

To see who did it better, peep the clips below of Smith and Young unleashing their signature moves in actual games.

Who did it better? Young or Smith? That may be up for debate. But their impression of one another shows how much they pay attention to their foes. Since Young and Smith play the same position, they are usually matched up against one another in games.

As such, they have probably studied one another's moves and tendencies. Smith knows that Young is a sharpshooter from downtown. Although in his rookie season, he showcased his passing and playmaking skills as well.

Young, meanwhile, is aware that Smith has a hesitation move in his arsenal. If his foe bites, Smith will burst to the rim and use his leaping ability to slam it down.

Given that both players seem to have a grasp of each other's tendencies, how will they adjust once the Knicks and Hawks match up in the upcoming 2019-20 season?
