Denver Nuggets All-Star Nikola Jokic and New York Knicks veteran Marcus Morris got into it on Thursday at The Garden.

Morris and Jokic earned double techs for their shoving match:

Morris wasn’t kidding around when he said he wants to bring grit back to New York basketball. The Knicks may once again be a walking disaster on the court, but Morris isn't going to let the team be bullied around.

As for Jokic, he's a big dude, so he's not going to back down from anyone. The Nuggets star knows he sets the tone for his team and that standing up for himself sends a message to his teammates.

The Knicks have been a walking disaster for years under owner James Dolan. The franchise hasn’t made the playoffs since 2013 and had the worst record in the NBA last season.

The Nuggets, meanwhile, made it to the second round of the playoffs last season and have a nice core headlined by Jokic.
