LaVar Ball recently made his way to Chicago to take part in the Junior Basketball Association's (JBA) All-Star Game. Upon setting his eyes on Michael Jordan's honorary statue at the United Center, Ball could not help but rekindle an old flame involving himself and the Chicago Bulls legend.

Sports Illustrated shared this unusually amusing — as opposed to his customary annoying bombardments — clip of LaVar alongside the great Michael Jordan. Or his statue at least.

This is not the first time Ball has called out Jordan for a game of one-on-one. Last year, Ball challenged Jordan to an on-court duel, followed by a characteristic barrage of trash talk. So much so that Jordan himself felt compelled to dignify the challenge by firing back.

Ball typically basked in the spotlight, and the fact that one of the greatest of all time actually gave him the time of day fed this man's ego even more.

Predictably, the one-on-one contest never pushed through. However, thanks also to Sports Illustrated, a computer simulation was created for everyone's viewing pleasure.

Ball is very much eager to renew his mini-feud with Jordan by reiterating his desire to face the six-time NBA champion in a pickup game. He has taken the challenge another step further by initiating it in Jordan's own home — the Hall of Famer's old stomping grounds.

Now let's see if MJ opts to respond this time around.
