On the 13th episode of the show's 17th season, the contestants were tasked to teach their culinary skills to a selected group of celebrities. And since it was the All-Star season of the show, the celebrities the show had invited were also All-Stars in their respective sports.

One of the celebrities who became a student for the contestants was Miller, much to the surprise and excitement of the contestants and the crowd.

The other All-Star celebrities who became students for the contestants included former NFL running back Ricky Williams, WNBA's Candace Parker, former NFL linebacker Shawne Merriman and retired artistic gymnast Jordyn Weiber.

The contestants were tasked to instruct their All-Star celebrity partner to cook their signature dishes for them.

Miller was paired with Robyn Almodovar and ended up making a scallop with uni sauce. The host and critic of the show, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, liked what Reggie Miller did. But the pair did not win the challenge.

The overall winner of the challenge was Los Angeles Sparks' Parker and her partner chef Michelle Tribble.

Miller had a fruitful NBA career. He played 18 years with only one team – the Indiana Pacers. He deserved this All-Star nod even from a non-basketball show like Hell's Kitchen. Miller had five All-Star appearances. He had averaged 18.2 points, three rebounds and three assists per game in his career.
