Orlando Magic power forward Aaron Gordon jumped over Boston Celtics giant Tacko Fall and still somehow lost the 2020 NBA Slam Dunk Contest to Miami Heat forward Derrick Jones Jr., who put on a tremendous show as well in Chicago.

Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen was one of the judges of the contest. NBA fans have been upset with the judges. Most people believe Gordon should have won after dunking over Fall.

Pippen went on ESPN's The Jump on Friday to explain what really happened with the judges scores:

The contest should have either went to Gordon for jumping over Fall or ended in a tie. Everyone still feels bad for Gordon, who probably should have two trophies at his house, but instead, Zach LaVine and Jones Jr. have them.

Heat legend Dwyane Wade was accused of rigging the scores for Jones Jr., his fellow Heat brother. Pippen's admission that the judges wanted to give Gordon and Jones Jr. a tie is nice and all, but it still doesn't change the fact that Gordon was robbed on a grand level.

To make matters even worse, Gordon has already admitted he's not going to do the contest anymore and Memphis Grizzlies rookie Ja Morant tweeted he's never going to do it. So the controversial ending is now taking players out of the contest, which isn't good for the NBA as a whole.
