O'Neal started off smooth, netting his first attempt — but after that, it was clear this was nothing but fool's gold, bricking one between the rim and the board and missing the next flat and short, grazing front rim.
The Big Diesel would manage to make one more before the time ran out, saving some face with a 2-of-10 performance — though the real test would be to see if he can shoot over 50 percent from the foul line even without any practice from his playing days.
