Rasir Bolton sent Gonzaga Bulldogs fans into frenzy with his epic halfcourt shot to beat the buzzer right at halftime of their NCAA showdown with the Texas Longhorns.

The Bulldogs' showdown with the Longhorns on Saturday was highly anticipated, and for good reason. After all, the No. 1 team Gonzaga would be facing one of their biggest hurdles in the NCAA in No. 5 Texas. However, what was expected to be an intense affair started off in a huge blowout as Gonzaga dominated in the first half.

Mark Few's men didn't give the Longhorns a chance in the opening half at all, finishing the first half 47-27. As mentioned, it was capped off by a brilliant stunner from Bolton who saved a lose ball in the dying seconds before heaving a Hail Mary that went in.

Below is another look at the rather impressive and lucky play. After Andrew Nembhard lost the ball, Rasir Bolton didn't waste any chance as he threw the ball up knowing there wasn't much time left. It would have been fine had he missed, they were on a huge lead anyway, but he made the shot to give all Gonzaga fans something to celebrate at the half.

The halfcourt buzzer-beater perfectly sums up the opening period of the game as well. Simply put, the Zags did a better job making their shots as the Longhorns struggled.

Drew Timme was phenomenal for Gonzaga, scoring 22 points at the half–almost as many as Texas' points as a team in the whole first half. Meanwhile, Nembhard and Bolton chipped in seven points apiece.
