Netflix showed off a new trailer for The Witcher Season 2 at WitcherCon. Geralt's and Ciri's fates finally intertwine and the stakes are higher than ever. The trailer also gives us a glimpse of Kaer Morhen. The Witcher Season 2 will premier on December 17 on Netflix.

WitcherCon was a joined event hosted by Netflix and CD PROJEKT RED. Additional details related to The Witcher Netflix series include the incoming episode titles. Only seven out of the eight titles have been revealed, however. The series' episode title reveal clip only contained title cards, and a coy “start casting your theories”.

The Witcher Season 2 titles are:

  • A Grain of Truth
  • Kaer Morhen
  • What Is Lost
  • Redanian Intelligence
  • Turn Your Back
  • Dear Friend
  • Voleth Meir

The last episode's title wasn't revealed. Based on the trailer and the titles we can surmise that The Witcher Season 2 will revolve around Geralt becoming a father figure to Ciri. It appears that they will make their way to Kaer Morhen and meet Geralt's mentor Vesemir.

In other news from WitcherCon, a Leshy was teased at Season 2's cast panel. Paul Billion, who plays Lambert, identified a creature as a Leshy. A short teaser video also showed the monster. In The Witcher games, the Leshy or Leshen is a forest monster with a head of deer skulls, branch-like limbs, and large antlers.

Additionally, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt‘s next-gen upgrade will include free content inspired by the Netflix series. CD PROJEKT RED devs Philipp Weber and Błażej Augustynek revealed that the additional content will arrive later this year. They did not delve into details about what exactly this content will be, however. It's also The Witcher franchise's 10th anniversary so there's a lot more coming in the next few months.
