New Brooklyn Nets forward Blake Griffin is fitting in just fine, as he showed off his passing abilities against the Minnesota Timberwolves. In true Steve Nash-esque fashion, he threw a no-look dime to teammate Tyler Johnson for a sweet 3-pointer.

Nets head coach Steve Nash had to have tipped his hat, as Griffin stole a page right out of the former MVP's book.

Blake Griffin signed with the Nets early this March, leaving the struggling Detroit Pistons in the middle of the season to join a championship-contending squad in Brooklyn. Backed by Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant and James Harden, Brooklyn is looking to coast through the competition the Eastern Conference has to offer.

Griffin's time in Detroit was not successful, as the Pistons last made the playoffs in the 2018-19 season, during which they lost to the Milwaukee Bucks 4-0. Making it to the playoffs is not a concern for Griffin anymore, but rather, where he will fit in an already star-studded roster is the question. While the Pistons looked at him to facilitate their offense, Griffin will now have to serve as an effective role player if he wants to work cohesively with some of the best scorers in the league.

With no-look passes like these, Nash may have to give Griffin more tips at the guard position, as the Nets just reinforced their frontcourt with the addition of LaMarcus Aldridge. The last few seasons have been rough on Griffin, but now's the time for him to play to his true potential and regain some of the confidence he had back in the Lob City days.
