Brooklyn Nets All-Star point guard D'Angelo Russell has won GQ Magazine's “NBA Style Showdown.”

GQ's editors crowned Russell as the most stylish NBA player. He beat Phoenix Suns swingman Kelly Oubre Jr. and Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James in the final round of the competition.

Newly retired Miami Heat icon Dwyane Wade, Oklahoma City Thunder star Russell Westbrook and Houston Rockets MVP candidate James Harden also contended for the honor of being the NBA's most fashionable athlete, albeit to no avail.

GQ's second annual NBA Style Showdown is in the books, and it wasn't without its surprises. Swan-songing Dwyane Wade, a pioneer of the league's most stylish era, made it all the way to the semifinals. Russell Westbrook and James Harden were both knocked out in the second round.

And new blood was ascendant. Kelly Oubre, Jr. made a surging run through the bracket, only to fall – along with no less than LeBron James – to our newly-crowned winner, D'Angelo Russell.

As GQ noted, Russell will probably be happy with the honor. After all, he got his own crown against The King himself.

D'Angelo Russell has undoubtedly a diverse array of looks off the court. These scored points with GQ Magazine. And without a doubt, he's the NBA's most stylish player — at least for the 2019-20 season.
