As the Atlanta Hawks rebuilt their roster this offseason, the team traded forward Taurean Prince to the Brooklyn Nets, ending the forward's three-year stay in the ATL.

Budding star and current face of the franchise Trae Young spoke on Prince's skillset, and why he enjoyed sharing the floor with the Baylor product:

“He can bring a lot. Taurean is a tremendous player. He brings a lot of skill on the court with his ability to shoot and pass. He's very smart. I think that goes very underrated. He knows how to make plays and when to make plays. As far as off the court, he was very helpful for me. I know Brooklyn doesn't have a lot of young guys, but off the court, he's a guy that's not going to be in trouble and going to be low key. As far as a teammate, he's a good person and a good player to be around. I think Taurean is going to have a great season in Brooklyn.”

Prince had established himself as a valuable role player in his three seasons with the Hawks. Last season, he averaged 13.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and one steal a game.

Prince played the role of three and D wing for the young Hawks, and impressed enough for Brooklyn to trade for him to compliment a roster that is looking to seriously contend next year.

After a memorable three years in Atlanta, it'll be interesting to see what Prince can bring to a team that is loaded with talent.
