After the Indiana Pacers lost Game 7 to the Cleveland Cavaliers, Victor Oladipo made some news when he texted his trainer right after the game, looking to start training for next season.

He, however, isn't the only one training with David Alexander since the season ended. Brooklyn Nets center Jahlil Okafor, hoping to revive his career, has started working out with Alexander down in Florida.

For Oladipo, last summer was the first year he worked with Alexander and he took his career to a new level. Okafor is closer to being out of the league than being an All-Star so he really needs to treat this summer with a sense of urgency.

He is going to need to take a huge step forward just to have half of the success that Oladipo had this year, and that would already be a huge start.

After being traded midseason from the Philadelphia 76ers to the Nets, some thought of it as the change he needed to revitalize his career.

However, it was quite the opposite and he didn't do much with the Nets. At the end of the season when the Nets were seemingly giving everyone a chance to prove their worth, Okafor was stuck at the end of the bench, not getting in the game.

With the Nets, he appeared in 26 games, averaging 12.6 minutes and 6.5 points per contest. That ‘s quite the drop from his rookie season when he averaged 17.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game, looking like a guy that would have a nice future in the league.
