Right now, James Harden has an opportunity to win the first championship of his career with the Philadelphia 76ers. One of the teams that will be standing in their way will be the Brooklyn Nets — the same side that Harden turned his back on just a couple of months ago.

Harden's stint with the Nets was short-lived. The former league MVP spent barely a year with Brooklyn before he jumped ship to Philly. He admits, however, that he still holds some regret over his time playing alongside Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. When asked if he still thinks about what could have been if everyone was healthy:

“Yea I think everybody thinks that,” Harden told Zion Olejede of Complex. “Everybody thinks about ‘what if, what if, what if’ but in reality, things don’t work off what if.”

The trio of Harden, Durant, and Kyrie never really got going in Brooklyn. Injuries got in the way and all three superstars had their respective bouts on the sidelines. We never really got to see the full potential of this Big 3 and even Harden himself appears to have at least some regrets about this.

This is all water under the bridge now, however. The Sixers and the Nets could actually face off in the playoffs this season and that would be in the Eastern Conference Finals. I'm pretty sure a lot of folks would be willing to pay good money to see that.
