Brooklyn Nets star James Harden has repeatedly proclaimed that it would be “scary hours” for the rest of the NBA now that he, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving are all finally healthy.

While it's unclear if Harden and Durant are following Irving's lead in terms of rejecting COVID-19 vaccination, which would be a huge problem for their home games, the Nets are still the clear-cut favorites in the Eastern Conference.

Harden said he's not in a rush to make a decision about signing his extension with the Nets, saying he's more focused on winning his first championship. The former MVP praised Nets owner Joseph Tsai and general manager Sean Marks for “doing things the right way.” But in the process, it appears Harden also took a swipe at the Houston Rockets front office (via Heavy).

“I have been here, what, not even a year, and the love and support that—not even from the coaches and whatnot, it’s from the front office, they’ve shown me we’re different and we want to communicate, and we want to make sure that everybody’s involved. They want to do what’s right at all times. It’s been great, communication, like I keep harping on, is very big with me. They’ve been doing a great job with that.”

Harden didn't have the best of exits with the Rockets last season. He didn't totally trust general manager Rafael Stone after replacing Daryl Morey. The communication broke off between Harden and the Rockets brass for some time before he was finally shipped to the Nets in a midseason trade.

It's highly possible that James Harden was just simply praising the Nets organization. But still, it's pretty telling that he was really gushing about his new situation. Then again, who can blame him?
