New Los Angeles Lakers forward Jared Dudley said he helped bring center DeAndre Jordan to the Brooklyn Nets, his former team, telling The Big Apple newbie that there was not much to lose with a move across town.

Dudley went on The Woj Pod, telling ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski that his input surely counted on Jordan's decision to join friends Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving at the Barclays Center.

Via Nets Daily:

“Hey, DeAndre's a good friend of mine. I told him about all the good, 95 percent good there. It's one of the best practice facilities in the league. You can live in the city.”

Dudley is expecting Durant, Irving and Jordan to pack up the place and rivaling a diehard New York Knicks fan base, that once again struck out on its desired free agents.

“With Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant, that place is going to be on fire,” said Dudley. “You know it's going to be sold out. the media is going to be over there. And I could really see it changing for them.”

Dudley played for the Nets for all of last season after he was traded by the Phoenix Suns for Darrell Arthur, though he was a massive veteran presence for a young team hoping to reach the playoffs.

Much like the L.A. Clippers to the Lakers, the Nets have been the little brother in the city that never sleeps, but that could all change once the trio of Durant, Irving, and Jordan take the court soon enough.
