Brooklyn Nets center Jarrett Allen says there's “no bad blood” between point guard Kyrie Irving and the rest of the team.

After Brooklyn lost to the Philadelphia 76ers, Irving told reporters he felt it was “glaring” that the Nets “need one or two more pieces to complement” himself, Kevin Durant, DeAndre Jordan, Garrett Temple, Spencer Dinwiddie and Caris LeVert.

Irving most notably omitted Allen, Joe Harris and Taurean Prince, but Allen says he and Irving talked and they are cool.

“It was whatever,” Jarrett Allen said, via Nets Daily. “What do I expect him to do, name the whole team? That’s really the only comment I have on that. We talked about it. He ended up saying everything is fine, so no bad blood.”

Irving has spoken to his Nets' teammates about his comments. The All-Star point guard also said he is not imploring the team to make any major moves before the Feb. 6 trade deadline.

Brooklyn entered Saturday in eighth place in the Eastern Conference standings. Durant is sitting out the whole season, so Irving is the best player on the team and the organization will ultimately go as far as he can take them.

Kyrie Irving has only played in 14 games this season entering Saturday because of a serious shoulder injury which kept him sidelined for 26 games. He is averaging 27.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 6.9 assists.
