During the recent reveal of the National Basketball Players Association award winners, the category of Teammate of the Year was announced for the East and Western Conference, and each team had one player representative that received the award.

For the Brooklyn Nets, guard Randy Foye took home the trophy. There were no arguments from teammates about it due to the fact that it was a player award voted on by the players themselves.

What makes this particular award special in its own right is because the players gave recognition beyond themselves. There are many awards given out at the end of the regular season each year which are usually voted on by media representatives, and there are certainly always snubs that stir up conversations stemming from it.

Foye may have some competition for the next award this upcoming season from none other than his teammates, Jeremy Lin. Lin isn't waiting around and has been hanging out with Abe Ndoye, a Texas-based designer who designs men's wear, and specifically for many athletes and coaches of the NBA and NFL.

The two have teamed up to provide brand new suits for Lin's teammates for opening night of the 2017-18 season. Players have purchased things for teammates or even rookies in the past, but none have ever provided slick threads for the entire team.

Let's just say Lin has already given himself a huge head start for next year's award.
