Brooklyn Nets shooting guard Joe Harris is dealing with an emergency family matter, which is why he left the Orlando bubble on Wednesday.

According to Brian Lewis of the New York Post, Harris' return to the bubble is day-to-day at this point.

The Nets are down 0-2 to the Toronto Raptors in the first round of the 2020 playoffs. If they lose both Games 3 and 4, Harris' 2019-20 season will be over, as will Brooklyn's. The sharpshooter becomes an unrestricted free agent this offseason and should get paid handsomely since he's one of the best 3-point shooters in the league.

Hopefully, everything is okay with Harris and his family. If it's an emergency, it's clearly more important than basketball.

Harris appeared in 69 games for the Nets during the 2019-20 regular season. He averaged 14.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists per contest while shooting 48.6 percent from the field, 42.4 percent from beyond the arc and 71.9 percent from the free-throw line.
