Brooklyn Nets shooting guard Joe Harris thinks Brooklyn’s “quality players” attracted stars Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving to the team.

Along with Harris, who is one of the best 3-point shooters in the league, the Nets have Jarrett Allen, Caris LeVert, Spencer Dinwiddie and Rodions Kurucs.

Harris says Brooklyn's culture and young core pieces are two reasons KD and Irving decided to sign with the Nets in free agency.

“You look at the foundation of the organization. We have a lot of good, young pieces,” Harris said on Barstool Sports' Pardon My Take podcast, via Anthony Puccio of Nets Daily. “Caris is up and coming, maybe All-Star at some point, Spencer, Jarrett Allen. You can go up and down the list, there’s a lot of quality players that attracted those players to come and want to play with.”

The Nets signed Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, DeAndre Jordan, Garrett Temple and Wilson Chandler in free agency. Brooklyn also traded for Taurean Prince.

Last season, the Nets made the playoffs with point guard D'Angelo Russell as the team's lone All-Star. Even though Durant is expected to miss the entire 2019-20 season recovering from his Achilles tear, Irving, Jordan, LeVert, Dinwiddie, Harris and Allen should be able to lead Brooklyn to a top-four seed in the Eastern Conference.

Once Durant comes back in 2020-21, the Nets will become title contenders.
