Former NBA big man and current ESPN NBA analyst Kendrick Perkins hasn't been shy in his critique of Brooklyn Nets superstar guard Kyrie Irving.

However, it appears Perkins is done talking about Irving, or at least that's what he's saying.

Perk's tweet comes a few hours after Nets head coach Kenny Atkinson announced that Irving is out again after re-aggravating his shoulder. Perkins said earlier in the season he thought Irving was faking the injury so he didn't have to play against the Boston Celtics in Boston.

The 35-year-old ex-Boston Celtics center has called Irving a quitter, bad leader and soft in the past. It doesn’t appear he’s ever going to be a fan of Kyrie moving forward.

The Celtics lost to the Milwaukee Bucks in the second round of the 2019 playoffs in five games. Kendrick Perkins was critical of Kyrie Irving’s play and lack of leadership in the postseason at the time.

Now on the Nets, Irving is trying to lead his hometown team on a deep playoff run this season without the services of two-time Finals MVP Kevin Durant, who is going to miss the whole year recovering from his Achilles tear.

You can bet that as soon as the Nets falter in the playoffs, Perkins will be the first one to comment on Irving’s failures. It’s pretty clear that Perk just doesn’t like Irving and probably never will.
