Brooklyn Nets forward Kenneth Faried is known for his passionate style of play. Apparently, he is also passionate about getting enough playing time.
Sharp-eyed NBA writer Jac Manuell spotted an interesting string of Instagram likes from Faried's account. All of them were related to The Manimal's lack of playing time and his worth to the team:

Kenneth Faried has only played in eight games so far for the Nets, as he was recovering from a leg injury to start the season. But now that he is healthy, the energetic forward is looking to contribute to the team that acquired him in a trade from the Denver Nuggets in the offseason.
Faried is currently playing his lowest minutes per game ever with the Nets, only seeing about five and a half minutes of court time per contest. His career average is 24.6, so this is a drastic change for Faried.
When he is on the court, Faried gives 100 percent on every play, whether it be diving for loose balls or sprinting to finish an alley-oop on a fast break. The one part of his game that has not developed has been his jump shot, which is still extremely shaky. Faried's 3-point shooting is nonexistent, and he has only ever hit one in his career.
In a game where stretch 4s have become the new prized commodity, the veteran's game might be a little outdated. However, it's clear Kenneth Faried thinks he can still contribute to a team as long as he gets enough minutes.
