The Brooklyn Nets were severely undermanned when they didn’t have Kyrie Irving or DeAndre Jordan on the team when they faced the Cleveland Cavaliers. Fortunately for the Nets, the team’s depth managed to help them get over the Cavaliers.

More good news came Brooklyn’s way. Head coach Kenny Atkinson is confident his center will be back in top shape in time for their upcoming clash against the Boston Celtics.

Brian Lewis gave the scoop on the situation of Jordan’s ankle, and Brooklyn fans hope this is true.

The Nets were carried to the W by Spencer Dinwiddie and Jarrett Allen, who both scored at least 20 points to eke by the rebuilding Cavs, 108-106. It was a showcase of depth from the Nets, but it still doesn’t take away from the fact that they would rather have Jordan and Kyrie back on the fold.

Jordan’s season in Brooklyn has been a mixed bag. He’s averaging 7.1 points, 9.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.1 blocks in the 15 games he’s played so far.

There’s no pressure for the Nets to perform this season since Durant’s still out with an injury, but it’s expected out of them to at least play entertaining basketball to make up for their stars’ absences. It seems like they’re doing it well at the moment, and they could be getting a boost once Jordan’s cleared to play.
