Kevin Durant was at Brooklyn Nets practice on Wednesday getting some shots up, a scene which made head coach Kenny Atkinson and guard Spencer Dinwiddie happy.

Although Durant is going to miss the entire 2019-20 season recovering from his Achilles tear, Atkinson and Dinwiddie think Durant's presence on the court and with the Nets is positive.

Via Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News:

“I just like hanging out with him and watching that ball go in every time,” Atkinson said after practice. “Even form shooting. It’s amazing. It’s like he’s just such a, it’s a thing of beauty watching him shoot. It’s great having him out there, he’s out here the whole practice and obviously got some form shooting in.”

“I will say every time he’s around, it’s definitely great for us,” Dinwiddie said. “We get to soak up knowledge and learn from him. Obviously, him and Kareem are the two best scorers of all time, so to be able to have a guy like him on the roster who’s still your age or close to it, it’s just cool to be around.”

The Nets are 3-4 on the season. They are coming off a home win against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Brooklyn will be title contenders next season when Durant suits up. This season, while the Nets should be playoff contenders in the East, is more of a building block for next season once KD plays.
