In his first 15 games donning the Brooklyn Nets jersey, Kevin Durant is averaging some 30 points per game, making him just the second player in NBA history to log in that stat with a new team.

Per ESPN Stats & Info, Wilt Chamberlain achieved the feat in the 1959-60 season with the Philadelphia Warriors. Unlike Durant, those were Chamberlain's first 15 games in the NBA.

It's a remarkable yet expected feat from Durant who's considered one of the most potent scorers in history. Apart from two rings, multiple All-Star and All-NBA selections, Durant also has four scoring titles in his trophy case.

He's also part of the exclusive 50-40-90 club, which consists of just eight players. Specifically, Durant entered the club in the 2012-13 season as he shot 51 percent from the field, 42 percent from downtown, and 91 percent from the free throw line.

There have been debates going on if Durant may be the greatest offensive player that the league has ever seen. Former teammate Draymond Green, who has seen up close how gifted of a scorer Durant is, agrees that the former league MVP is just the best.

“Kevin Durant is the best scorer by the way,” Green said on the NBA on TNT. “The best scorer ever. Not even close. No disrespect to James, but Kevin Durant is the best scorer ever.”

Kendrick Perkins, another former teammate of Durant, agrees with Green's sentiments. But analyst Max Kellerman brought out his Michael Jordan card to contest his argument.

However, Durant himself joined the discussion but only to pull himself out of it.
