The Brooklyn Nets have officially booked a playoff ticket after winning their play-in against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday. Now, Kevin Durant and company will be gearing up to face Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics in the first round of the postseason.

Of course the key for the Nets to beat the Celtics is by slowing down Jayson Tatum. However, for Durant, that's a job easier said than done given how talented the 24-year-old forward is.

“That's a tough question. He's one of those players you just got to play hard and see what happens. He's just so talented and skilled and efficient at what he does. We gotta just play hard, and I expect us to,” Durant said when asked on how they can slow down Tatum, per Dave Early of ClutchPoints.

Jayson Tatum has been playing incredibly well for the Celtics, especially in the second half of the season, so it's easy to see where Kevin Durant is coming from. Not to mention that Boston also has Jaylen Brown at their disposal.

Simply put, if the Nets have Durant and Kyrie Irving as their dynamic duo, the Celtics have their own one-two punch that can match up with them.

Durant and Irving have championship experience, so they have that going for them. Nonetheless, KD knows very well that they cannot be complacent and disrespect their opponents. Besides, they will be entering the playoffs not as a high seed but instead a team that made it to the postseason via the play-in.
