Rich Kleiman, the manager of Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant, admits it's hard for him to imagine the 2019-20 season coming back.

The NBA suspended the 2019-20 season after Utah Jazz All-Star center Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19. Four Nets players tested positive as well, including Durant.

KD told Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium that he tested positive for COVID-19. The NBA star knows his voice travels far and he wanted to impact people in a positive way:

NBA owners would like to resume the 2019-20 season in the summer. However, with the way the coronavirus is spreading, it's hard to imagine at this point the season starting back up again since city after city is going on lockdown and there are more coronavirus cases coming up in the U.S.

Kevin Durant was set to miss this entire 2019-20 season for the Nets, as he’s still recovering from the Achilles tear he suffered in Game 5 of 2019 NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors in Toronto. Even if the season resumes down the road, Durant is not expected to return.

With the Oklahoma City Thunder and Golden State Warriors, Durant holds career NBA averages of 27.0 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists. Nets fans certainly can’t wait to see KD suit up for them with All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving by his side at the Barclays Center in 2020-21.
